Noor Azuan Osman, dean of Faculty of Engineering of University of Malaya (UM) and his delegation visited Guizhou University of Engineering Science (GUES) on Nov. 1, 2017. President Li Qiyong, assistant president Yang Baohua and assistant president Lu Fengpeng met them at the Room 802 of Office Building, West Campus. The heads of Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Scientific Research, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the relative schools attended the meeting.

 At the meeting, Li Qiyong extended his warm welcome to Noor Azuan Osman and his delegation and introduced the status of Guizhou Province and GUES. Also, he hoped that the two universities could achieve mutual benefits by cooperation and exchange. Noor Azuan Osman introduced the basic information and majors of Faculty of Engineering of UM and explained the five reasons that it rose from No.213 to No.35 on World Ranking. Liu Rong, the head of overseas office (China) of UM, presented the potential programmes between both universities.

 After other heads of offices and schools had an in-depth exchange of view with visitors, Li Qiyong and Noor Azuan Osman signed the Letter of Intent between UM and GUES.
