GUES Symphony Orchestra (Guizhou Youth Symphony Orchestra), is an elegant art performance team composed of teachers and students of School of Arts, GUES. It was established in June 2014. At present, nearly 60 Chinese and foreign classic tracks have been accumulated in rehearsal.

贵州工程应用技术学院交响管乐团（贵州青年交响管乐团）是由我校艺术学院师生组成的高雅艺术表演团队，起源于2014年6月成立的贵州工程应用技术学院交响管乐团。目前已排练积淀了近60首中外经典曲目。

In 2015, the orchestra won the second prize of professional group performance in the first provincial universities instrumental ensemble competition.

2015年，获首届全省高校器乐合奏大赛中专业组演奏二等奖。

In 2020, the orchestra won the second prize of the sixth college students' art performance in Guizhou, stood out from more than 2000 colleges and universities in China, and was successfully selected into the national live performance.

2020年，获第六届大学生艺术展演活动全省二等奖，在全国2000多所高校中脱颖而出，成功入选全国现场展演。

In May 2021, the orchestra will go to Chengdu to participate in the national live performance which is directed by the Ministry of Education. It is the only Orchestra selected in Guizhou Province (37 orchestras in China were selected.).

贵州工程应用技术学院交响管乐团将于2021年5月赴成都参加由教育部主办的全国现场展演，是贵州省唯一入选的参演乐团（全国共37支乐团入选）。
