The seventh display for appraisal of Unit Cup undergraduate and graduate students’ physical teaching skills and self-made teaching AIDS was held by Physics Teaching Professional Committee of China Education Society in Shaanxi University of Technology. Three students of our university entered the competition for the first time and won four first-prizes.

661 students --- 583 undergraduates and 78 postgraduates, competed fiercely. They came from 112 colleges and universities, such as Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Southwest University, Shanxi Normal University, and Guizhou Normal University, etc.

After the appraisal of different sections --- teaching design, multimedia courseware, teaching presentation, teaching lecture, etc., three students from School of Science, Guizhou University of Engineering Science --- Hu zhongjian, Ding Xiqun and He Xixiong won first prize for teaching skills respectively. He Xixiong’s work The Experimental Device of Electricity Transmission, standing head and shoulders above the rest 275 entries, won first prize in the appraisal of self-made teaching AIDS and designing experiments. Guizhou University of Engineering Science won Excellent Group Award. Six teachers from School of Science, i.e., Peng Shuangyan, Zhang Zhengyan, Gao Huiyun, Ji Yonglin, Zhou Jiangjun and Li Zuo, won Exellent Guide Teacher Award respectively.
